    DescriptionAllspice whole / Lontai 250 grams Palm
    Allspice, (Surinamese Dutch) lontai, (Pimenta dioica) is a plant and spice from Central America and the West Indies. Allspice is also known as Jamaica pepper, allspice berry, pimento, allspice, nail pepper or nail grit.

    The seeds are used in dried form, possibly ground. Allspice has an aroma of cloves, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is quite mild and less hot than black or white pepper.

    It is used in eg in dishes or soups.
