Recipe Indonesian Rendang dish
Ingredients for 4 people:
1 packet of spice paste for Rendang dish
2 tbsp vegetable oil
450 g of beef, cut into cubes
440 ml coconut milk or coconut cream
kaffer lime leaves as a garnish
Preparation :
Heat the oil in a pan at medium temperature. Add the spice paste and stir-fry for ½ minute.
Add the meat and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the coconut milk, bring to the boil and let it simmer covered for half an hour.
Remove the lid from the pan and simmer for another 20 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened. Stir now and then. Garnish and serve hot with rice.
