Hello there! It's Gembira. I hope you're having an awesome week! Just recently I've been looking at old food trends on the internet, and guess I stumbled on Rappoki!
Do you remember Rabokki? It’s a combination between tteokbokki and ramyeon noodles! It was very popular a while ago! Do you remember this trend? or was it something you missed out on?
Well if you don't remember let me refresh you then! Like I said, Rabokki is a combination between the beloved Korean dish Tteobboki and Ramyun noodles! It was so popular because of how good it looked but not only did it look good it was delicious too!
The sauce was spicy, savory, and a little sweet, while the tteok (Rice cake) was chewy and the noodles had a soft texture, making the perfect mix of flavors and textures! Plus it was super easy to make too!
All you have to do to make Rabokki is boil some water, add tteok, add ramyeon noodles, cook it until soft, and stir in gochujang sauce, and tada! It's done! Super simple, right?
So… would you want to give it a try? If you do, let me know what you think! Or if you prefer to keep them separate, well either way they're all really good!
Best regards, Gembira
